The bits that make a village look built

Buildings and figurines are the stars, but it’s the accessories that make a display look professionally built. This range is 66 of the unglamorous heroes — papers, backdrops, mouldable sheets, base plates, glue dots, track and lighting bits — much of it from the My Village display range, all of it chosen to stage a Lemax village properly.

Building the base

Street paper and stone paper lay the roads, base sheets and plates (ancient stone, water effects) set the ground level, and the mouldable sheets — snow and camouflage — shape over boxes and risers to build hills, slopes and second storeys for your display. A winter forest background cloth at 150 x 75cm closes off the back of the scene.

Sound, light and movement

The firework soundbox adds a show overhead, railway stop lights and straight track keep the Christmas Express on schedule, and LED bulbs like the green Moonlander keep everything glowing.

The honest heroes

Sticky glue dots are the cheapest insurance in the hobby — they hold figurines and small accessories in place every time someone bumps the table. Pieces run from around $3.95 to $36.95, and as one of only 12 authorised Lemax retailers in Australia, we’re open year-round at the Archerfield showroom if you’d like to see the pieces in person.

Display-building materials — street and stone papers, background cloths, mouldable sheets, base plates and glue dots — that we stock to stage Lemax villages properly.

How do I build hills and levels in my display?

Mouldable sheets are the trick — shape the snow or camouflage sheets over boxes and risers, then run street or stone paper where the roads go.

How do I stop pieces sliding around?

Sticky glue dots — the 64-pack is the cheapest insurance in the hobby, holding figurines and small accessories where you put them.

Do you ship these?

Yes — everything ships to most of Australia (except WA & NT) packed with care, with free click and collect from the Archerfield showroom for Brisbane locals.
