Measure floor to ceiling and leave about 30cm for a topper and breathing room — a 10ft tree wants a ceiling around 3.4 metres or more. If you’re between sizes, our 9ft range is the step down without losing the drama.
Big trees swallow decorations, so scale up. The rule of thumb is around 100 LEDs per foot for a good glow — so 1,000-plus fairy lights for a 10-footer, double that for spectacular. And on the baubles wall, the 100mm-plus feature sizes — we range up to 300mm giants — finally get the canvas they deserve.
